Community Involvement

Here are some Community Activities done through our Med Club that you can do as well!

• Community Fundraisers

  • To expand our in school awareness weeks, our Med Club has held restaurant fundraiser nights where the community gathers at a local business to honor a cause. This allows for local businesses to get more notice as well as the highlighted cause to get more awareness as well.

• Hospital Aid

  • Our Community Involvement Hospital Aid events our club members go into Hospitals or Senior Homes talking to the patients there. These people are going through tough times and they always appreciate our student members coming and talking to them.

• Blood Drives

  • Blood Drive events can also work in a community involvement way as the drives can be at the donation center rather than at the school, allowing us to expand the drives past school to community events as well.

• Club Volunteering

  • Med Clubs offer Volunteering opportunities - both individual and group outings- to our students. These opportunities are in places of need like Mathew 25 Ministries or Local Food Banks. With these opportunities, community spirit is built.
